Postgraduate (MSc) Programs in Sanitation

In partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, IHE Delft has launched a new Master of Science Program in Sanitation. While the program is currently only available at IHE Delft in the Netherlands, in the near future the program will also be adopted by universities in Asia, Africa and Latin America as a part of the recently established Global Sanitation Graduate School. As soon as the program transfer takes place and becomes available at partner institutions, it will be announced on this website. Besides this new MSc program, the Global Sanitation Graduate School is intended to include any other program that focuses primarily, or at least in a substantial part, on non-sewered sanitation. Please note that the actual enrollment on a Master program can only take place via the institutions' official websites and associated application procedures. The links are provided below.

Programs on offer

The Delft-based Master of Science in Sanitation is currently the only graduate program entirely dedicated to non-sewered sanitation. In the near future this program will be adopted/adapted by dozens of universities worldwide and respective programs will be added to the list below. You can also find here some international MSc programs which are dealing with sanitation engineering and management in a developing context.
