This course takes a novel approach by emphasizing practice and reflection, hence it is spread across the taught program. An initial self-assessment is undertaken and the theory of teamwork is reviewed, after which the participants will apply and reflect on how they and others function in a team over a series of group-work sessions. There are also several interactive sessions to deepen insights into group work theory. Throughout this course a portfolio is developed to capture the participants’ development of teamwork skills.
